Research

Individual ILTER members conduct a wide range of research, much of it site-based and long-term. Long-term datasets are a very valuable research resource, and many datasets generated by ILTER members are freely available for research purposes. Well-instrumented sites are also an important research asset, and many members also welcome research proposals that utilise the sites.

Current activities

ILTER is undertaking its first network-level research project, Interactions among ecosystem services, the dynamic behavior of ecosystems delivering these services, and human outcomes and behavior.
