News and Views public communication system launched

News and Views is a new web-based communication tool developed by the European project ALTER-Net. The aim is to present interesting topics relating to nature and biodiversity to the general public. Users can read the topics, then provide their opinions in the form of multi-choice questions and/or free text. They can also read other peoples' views.

News and Views - which was developed by the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology with input from a range of other ALTER-Net partners - is currently in beta form, and it is hoped to further develop the system. To try it out, follow the link below. There is a feedback form on the ALTER-Net website for users to provide comments to help improve the system.

Contributions of content are welcome, and guidelines on writing material for News and Views are available on the ALTER-Net website.
