Long-term monitoring reveals increased infanticide within seabird colony
One of Britain's best-known species of seabird - the guillemot - is increasingly attacking and killing unattended chicks from neighbouring nests due to food shortages. This finding was revealed from a colony which has been monitored for almost 30 years.
