ECN at Alice Holt Forest

The UK Environmental Change Network (ECN) is pleased to announce the publication of a Forestry Commission Research Note reviewing long-term datasets collected at Alice Holt Forest ECN site. The publication provides a summary of trends in data sets ranging from meteorological data and atmospheric chemistry to records of vegetation, beetles, birds and bats. Staff at Alice Holt have been collecting ECN data since 1992 and there are also longer data sets for some measured variables. Together these data provide evidence of the impacts of climate change and the effects of air pollutants.
