ILTER's annual meeting in 2011 will be co-organised by Japan Long-Term Ecological Research Network (JaLTER), IFES-GCOE of Hokkaido University, Ecosystem Adaptability GCOE of Tohoku University and Global Land Project (GLP) Sapporo Nodal Office. Provisional programme

  • 4th September (Sun) 2011: Arrival
  • 5th Sep (Mon): Science programs arranged by local organizer, Welcome reception
  • 6th Sep (Tue): Science programs arranged by ILTER Science Committee
  • 7th Sep (Wed): Field trip to JaLTER core-site, Tomakomai Experimental Forest
  • 8th Sep (Thu.): ILTER regional meetings; ILTER committee meetings; ILTER coordinating committee meeting (1st day)
  • 9th Sep (Fri.): ILTER coordinating committee meeting (2nd day); Farewell dinner
  • 10th Sep (Sat): Departure


A pre-meeting tour (with a short scientific session) will be held between 2nd-4th September at a wetland and coastal JaLTER-site in eastern Hokkaido (Akkeshi). Detailed information will be given in the 2nd circular.

 

Important dates

  • March 31st: Release of the 2nd circular
  • May 31st: Deadline of registration for international participants
  • May 31st: Deadline of abstract for presentation (Details will be given in the 2nd circular)
  • July 31st: Submission of manuscripts for special issues (Details will be given in the 2nd circular)

 

Call for papers

Local organizing committee is planning to publish a special issue in scientific journals.  Details of authors’ instruction will be provided in the 2nd circular.

 

Registration

Participants need to pay for registration fee, basic management fee, accommodation, food and beverage.  The information of those fees will be provided in the 2nd circular.
